INNERchamber 2011/2012 season
INNERchamber is a music series that reshapes the typical concert experience. Held in Stratford, the concerts feature the Factory Arts Ensemble with special guests, performing chamber music by the finest composers.
Included in the price for all our events is food catered by Stratford restaurants. A cash bar is also available, and patrons can enjoy a drink during the show.
But why chamber music? Many composers created their finest musical works for small groups. A concert where the audience is just a few feet away from the performers is a more visceral and intimate experience compared to a large concert hall. In a large space, the audience can listen to the music, but misses out on the nuances and the intense communication between the players that brings such masterpieces to life.
We hope you will join us for a diverse exploration of chamber music to stir the senses

"The essence of what I believe the love of Christ is is that He became everything that separates from the love of God. He became our sin; he became all of the injustice in the world. He took on all of the anger, all of the adultery, all of the jealousy, all of the rage, all of the cheating and the lying, all of the stealing, the murder, the coveting ... everything ... he took it all on himself and he became that in our place so that we could be made right with God."

Based out of the rural city of Stratford, Ontario, Canada, RANT MAGGIE RANT has been wowing audiences on the road for the past three years at festivals and concert halls in Canada and the US. Their repertoire combines original compositions (about one third) with traditional tunes, often mixing them together with contemporary elements to deliver an exotic blend of new and old, delivered with an uplifting energy.
Traditionalists love their approach, as they respect the time honoured styles. Drawing on the music from the seven Celtic nations, obviously Ireland, Scotland, Cornwall, Wales, and the lesser known Isle of Mann, Galicia(Spain) and Breton(France), as well as from Quebec and Canada's East Coast, a legion of new Celtic music listeners and fans are drawn to RANT MAGGIE RANT'S fusion of World influences. The ensemble moves effortlessly from Irish jigs to Galician munieras, from Scottish marches to Breton an dros, driving them with a lush array of blues/rock guitar backdrops, revved up tempos, surprising time changes, and unique rhythmic attacks. They'll deliver a beautiful traditional ballad, chase it up with a blues-infused Appalachian-style groove and end with a killer jig or reel. They know how to build up your anticipation and never disappoint.

The Woman in Black March 23 to April 7, 2012 Park Theatre & Performing Arts Centre 60 King Street E Cobourg ON
Award Winning Producer/Director Antonio Sarmiento leads a stellar cast starring Dave Clark and Rémi Mireault in "The Woman In Black", adapted by Stephen Mallatratt. The play is based on the book of the same name, which was written in 1983 by Susan Hill. It is notable for only having two actors perform the whole play. Unanimously acclaimed by the critics and now in its 23rd year in London, England, (becoming the second longest running play in the history of the West End), "The Woman In Black" combines the power and intensity of live theatre with the cinematic quality of film noir.
The framework of this spine tingler is unusual: a lawyer hires an actor to tutor him in recounting to family and friends a story that has long troubled him concerning events that transpired when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. There he caught sight of the woman in black, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals, for she is a spectre who haunts the neighbourhood where her illegitimate child was accidentally killed. Anyone who sees her dies! The lawyer has invited some friends to watch as he and the actor recreate the events of that dark and stormy night. A classic of the genre.

As part of our 50th anniversary celebrations, Dundas Calvin Christian School is pleased to welcome Dove award winning artists Selah to Canada . Selah is made up of the gifted trio Todd Smith, Allan Hall, and Amy Perry. From their inception, Selah has always been synonymous with hymns. In fact, the understated beauty of the trio’s 1999 debut, Be Still My Soul (Curb), helped initiate a hymn revival in Christian music that is still thriving today. Their discography has significantly re-popularized the church’s greatest songs while decorating the popular group with numerous Dove Awards, number one singles, sold out concert tours and over two and half million albums sold. Opening the evening will be solo guitarist Jacob Moon. Stylistically, Jacob fits into the roots category, with some eclectic twists. His strong rhythmic sense is complemented by a keen ear for catchy melody and lyrical depth. The opportunity to hear and experience a Jacob Moon show is not to be missed.

Francis Sinatra, from Hoboken, New Jersey, was an American singer and actor. His charismatic and explosive personality made him "bigger than life." And some of his songs (My Way and NEW YORK NEW YORK) became so popular they are now a part of the American lexicon. Known as The “Chairman of the Board” he was also part of the 1960s collection of actors known as the Rat Pack, and is infamously associated with the mob.
On Apri 14th you’ll want to hear as David Statham and the Brian Rose Little Big Band brings those memories back alive with his Tribute to Old Blue Eye’s.
It will be an evening of hit after hit. Enjoy an award winning 5 course buffet and then listen live to the songs of the most well known crooner of the twentieth century
Canadian born and bred Aaron Pritchett, has proven himself to be one of the hardest working and sought after artists in the business. With numerous top hits, music videos, tours with Alan Jackson, Toby Keith and Brooks & Dunn, Aaron has gained a significant following across Canada. Over his career he has earned many accolades and awards, including a CCMA for Independent Male Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year in 2007 for the anthem, “Hold My Beer”. His passion and intensity on stage coupled with his unwavering dedication to fans sets him apart from other acts and has helped solidify his success.
Still there is no doubt that his 80's rock roots have had a major influence on Aarons performances. All that head banging he did as a kid shines through when he whips a stadium full of chanting fans into a frenzy while hammering out "Hold My Beer" or "Lets Get Rowdy."
