TED is an annual event that brings together the world’s leading thinkers and doers to share ideas that that matter in any discipline—technology, entertainment, design, science, humanities, business, development. At a TEDx event, speakers and TEDTalks videos combine to spark deep discussion and connections. And in the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” TED created TEDx, a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
The hope for TEDxSixteenMileCreek is that it becomes a local forum for ideas within the Oakville community that inspires people to re-imagine their lives, their futures and ultimately their world.
